Mission Statement

Columbia Gorge Off Road Association mission statement- To advance better relationships between motorized trailriders, other outdoor enthusiasts, and the general public. To provide social and recreational activities for its membership, and to develop and maintain off-road motorized recreational trail riding areas.

The Columbia Gorge Off-Road Association (CGORA) was formed in 2001 to support and work with Hood River County (HRC) and Oregon State Parks (OSP) on the local Hood River County ATV Trail System. The 100+ mile trail system was built by volunteers (Joe Lawry and Rick Higgins) and has provided recreation for riders in the Pacific Northwest for the last 30 years.
